The Saint Rock Haiti Foundation (SRHF) Advisory Council is composed of talented professionals from Healthcare, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Education, Law, Finance, Human Resources, Public Relations, and Philanthropy who are motivated and inspired by our mission.
Advisory Council member(s) provide professional expertise and critical thinking while serving as conduits to new resources and champions for the Foundation.

Sarah Cambria
Sarah Cambria is an accomplished marketing leader with over 20 years of proven success in propelling marketing metrics, activating brands, and driving revenue by devising and executing customer-centric and insight-driven strategies. Sarah has collaborated with high-profile clients like Walmart, American Express, and Royal Caribbean throughout her distinguished career. Sarah is Senior Vice President of Business and Communications Strategy for Havas Media Network. Havas Media Network is part of Havas, one of the world’s most extensive integrated content, media, and communications groups.
Jon Cronin, MD
Dr. Jon Cronin is a primary care and cardiovascular specialist who has practiced at the Beth Israel Milton Hospital for nearly 40 years. He served as President of South Shore Internal Medicine, Assoc., Inc., President of the Milton hospital, medical staff, served as Chief of the Department of Medicine and has served on the Board of Directors of Milton Hospital. He has been associated with the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation for many years. He has served on the Board of Directors and has traveled to Haiti as a medical volunteer in the clinic 10 times. He grew up in Boston. He attended Boston technical high school, Harvard College, and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He and his wife, Lillian raised three boys and now have seven grandchildren.
Brian Concannon
Brian Concannon is a life-long supporter and advocate for Haiti and its marginalized communities. He began his journey in 1996 as a Human Rights Officer for the United Nations and then as a lawyer for the Bureau des Avocats Internationaux (BAI). In 2004, he returned to the U.S. to start the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti (IJDH), a non-profit organization dedicated to tackling the root causes of injustice that impact fundamental human rights in Haiti. In addition, Brian is an awardee of the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation’s Dr. Stephen Bresnahan Award.
Linda Dorcena Forry
Linda Dorcena Forry is a business leader and former Massachusetts State Senator with experience in business, government, and corporate governance. Linda was born and raised in Dorchester, and between 2005 and 2013, she represented the Commonwealth’s 12th Suffolk House district. Since then, she has spearheaded the establishment of Suffolk Construction’s Diversity and Inclusion, and Community Relations Department, where she served as a spokesperson for diversity issues within the business sector. She is co-founder of New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund. Linda is currently serving as Co-Publisher of the Dorchester/Haitian Reporter. Linda also served as the Honorary Gala Chair for the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation in 2020.
Eudad Gonzalez
Eudad Gonzalez is an experienced professional with a long history in the construction industry. With Eudad’s expertise in project estimation, pre-construction planning, contract management, and submittals, he has successfully led and managed numerous projects from inception to completion. Today, Eudad is Vice President and Business Manager of the Turner Construction Company and is a key member of the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation’s Building and Facilities Committee.
Omar Hernandez
Omar Hernandez is a seasoned engineer with experience working in the construction industry in over 30 countries. He has supervised the construction or renovations of residential and healthcare facilities worldwide. He is the Director of Engineering and Construction at Build Health International. He is responsible for managing all aspects of projects, from engineering design to material procurement and final construction.
Linda Hooley
Linda has been a dedicated Saint Rock Haiti Foundation supporter for many years. Her professional experience includes working with ARCO on the “Drive for Conservation” and AT&T Sales and Sales Management. She has a wealth of experience working with non-profit organizations like the Thayer Academy Board of Trustees, Womanade of the South Shore, Boys and Girls Club of Boston, and the Hingham Food Pantry. Linda served on the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation Board of Directors from 2022 to 2024. In addition, she was a member of the Education Committee, where she helped revitalize the education sponsorship program to reach and keep as many students in school as possible.
Meg Kaster
Meg is the former Chair of the Board of Directors at the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation. She is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Museum Teacher at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, following a distinguished fifteen-year career in financial services. Her executive experience includes roles as Vice President at State Street Corp where she managed a large team across diverse operational functions as well as leadership positions at The Boston Company Asset Management, Deutsche Bank, and BNY/Mellon. Beyond her corporate success, Meg is a dedicated community leader and fundraiser, having served as a Leadership Gift Officer for Nativity Preparatory School and in various executive and development roles for the Milton Foundation for Education and Ursuline Academy. A Fairfield University graduate with a BS in Finance, she remains deeply involved in her local community.
Charlot Lucien
Charlot Lucien is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public health, public history, and Haitian cultural preservation. He has acquired vast knowledge as a public health project manager at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Charlot has managed contracts and programs focused on public health, HIV/AIDS, emergency preparedness, culturally competent care standards, and mental health support for immigrants and refugees. Charlot Lucien serves on multiple boards, including Konbit Sante and the Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center.
Melissa Bruynell Manesse
Melissa is an attorney with experience in areas including contract negotiations, data privacy, employment, general corporate matters, M&A, and complex commercial litigation. Melissa currently serves as Counsel, Transformation and Operations at IBM, where she delivers strategic advice and legal counsel to CIO and Procurement. Melissa has been a dedicated supporter of the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation since 2012. She served on the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation Board of Directors from 2012-2025 and as its Secretary from 2014-2025. Melissa also has been a member of the Governance Committee and IT Committee during her time with the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation.
Melissa Nelson, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC
Melissa Nelson is a Certified Nurse Midwife and the Midwifery Director at Massachusetts General Hospital. She received her BA in Liberal Arts from College of The Holy Cross where she majored in anthropology. Afterwards she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in nursing from University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing where she specialized in nurse midwifery and women's health. In addition, Melissa is a teaching associate at Harvard Medical School for the department of OBGYN. She has experience in teaching nursing students, midwifery students, medical students ,OB/GYN and Family Medicine residents. Melissa is an active member of the American College Nurse Midwives (ACNM), collaborator in the BirthWorker Equity in Education (BEE) Collaborative and serves as an advisory on the Boston College School of Nursing Midwifery Advisory Board. Her clinical interests are adolescent pregnancy, centering pregnancy, maternal healthcare inequities, and healthcare leadership. In 2023, she completed the Duke University School School of Medicine Advanced Practice Provider Leadership Institute.
Pierre A. Noel
Pierre Noel is a professional with extensive experience in law, non-profit management, community development, and philanthropy. He has served as Country Director for the Family Institute of Haiti and Project Director for the Vincentian Family Haiti Initiative. In 2011, Pierre assumed the role of Haiti Fund Director and guided the organization to its current form as the Haiti Development Institute (HDI). HDI focuses on directing financial resources to reputable nonprofits and projects while strengthening the capacity of local organizations to effectively tackle health, education, and economic development challenges within their communities.
Karen O’Toole
Karen O’Toole is an executive with vast expertise in securities litigation, arbitration, and compliance, including anti-money laundering and insider trading. Karen excels in policy development and execution, helping organizations navigate complex legal landscapes while mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. For over 25 years, Karen has served as Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel for Fidelity Investments, where she continues to be an industry leader and innovator.
Sanjay Pathak
Sanjay Pathak is an experienced Chief Operating Officer with a demonstrated history of working in various health care settings including hospitals, ambulatory care, digital health companies and retail health. In addition, Sanjay currently serves as a Strategic Advisor for HCT Digital Care, where he has a proven history of driving operational excellence, improving patient care, and leading innovation in the healthcare industry. Sanjay participates on the board of the Brigham and Women’s Physician Organization.
Joanne Pohl, PhD, RN, FAAN, FAANP
Joanne Pohl, PhD, RN, FAAN, FAANP, is Professor Emerita at the University of Michigan School of Nursing, where she served for 20 years in roles including Associate Dean for Community Partnerships and director of one of the nurse practitioner programs. A past president of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, she is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her work spans primary care, community health, and global health initiatives. In retirement, she has dedicated her efforts to the Haiti Nursing Foundation, serving as past board president, supporting the country’s first BSN program at La Faculté des Sciences Infirmières de l'Université Épiscopale d'Haïti à Léogâne (FSIL) and co-leading a pioneering family nurse practitioner/nurse midwifery program at FSIL. Since relocating to the Boston area in 2019, she has actively collaborated with St. Rock.
