Every mother deserves a safe pregnancy and delivery. For nearly 25 years, Saint Rock Haiti Foundation has expanded access to lifesaving maternal healthcare in rural Haiti through prenatal care, community outreach, emergency transportation, and skilled medical services. Today, SRHF serves more than 128,800 registered patients, with women and children representing approximately 75% of those we serve.
Saving Mothers' Lives in Rural Haiti
"One thing that sticks with me is how the Foundation helps women in labor, ensuring they reach the hospital, no matter who they are."
Myriam, community member testimony
Our Maternal Health Services
Haiti has the highest maternal mortality rate in the Western Hemisphere. In the rural communities we serve, many women walk 2–4 hours over mountainous terrain to reach medical care, and 90% of women in rural areas lack access to basic healthcare. As a result, 1 in 80 women dies from pregnancy-related complications.
Every year, SRHF provides more than 1,500 prenatal visits, helping mothers and babies receive the care they need close to home.
